The 74 was the first of the new breed of hardtop sports cruisers with a discreetly disguised hidden extra – a top deck. This introduced the concept of the ‘sport fly’, a sleek hardtop sports cruiser, but with almost as much deck area as a flybridge yacht. This top deck can be either a purely recreational space for lounging and sunbathing, or it can be fitted with a flybridge helm.
You might suspect that the 'sport fly' top deck on the Pershing 74 would detract from the usual Pershing-style performance. But not a bit of it. The 74 performs like a classic Pershing, with twin surface drives and almost 4000hp on tap, she will reach close to 45 knots (50mph).
