In this session, Tià Simó and Luis Ferández-Cotero will talk about the design and engineering of optimised and environmentally friendly boats. The current consumption and pollution of recreational boats, for recreational use only, is excessive at present. Consumption is generally excessive in this type of boat, as is its noise pollution, spillage and harmful gases. Their intention is not to put an end to existing boats, since in global terms they are even more polluting, but rather to open up a path in which new boats are more respectful of our environment and our coasts.
